If it appears that dems are trying to "hide" the ad by aggresive means, it makes it look like it has merit. If it is ignored on the other hand, it also could be taken as factual news. The best course may be to attack as an exmple of right wing bias in the press (Sinclair) which also allows for discussions on Fox, etc.

This could also be a trap as was noted here elsewhere - a way to kill any upcoming plans to air Moore's film through this premptive strike.
