Well the effects of the last debate seem to be rolling in.
Kerry is now ahead in the latest national polls, ahead one point in the latest USA Today/Gallop poll and ahead 3 point in the latest Zogby

Zogby 10/11 Kerry 47 Bush 44 Nader 2

Gallop Kerry 49 Bush 48 Nader 1

These polls leave very few undecided voters. It all looks like it is coming up to be a very close election. If Bush wins, one can expect tha nation to be even more divided over the next 4 years than it has been during the past 4. As seen in Afghanisitan, the politicians selected by the Bush administration to lead will win, which will lead to ongoing insurgencies in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

5. I dont think it will work this time
The attmepts of the Swift Boat veterans backfired and had rather negative effects on Bush and in fact are part and parcel of Kerry's increase in likablity at the expense of Bush's. Attacks ads are held rather unfavorably, particularly among independent swing voters and these people are still undecided for one reason alone. That is they are not comfortable with the current administration.
They tend to want substance, and nothing else. They are the people most strongly effected by the Kerry lines that with Bush, you will get 4 more years of the same. Its why they are undecided, they dony like the same. They want different. If all Bush can do is attack Kerry's past, and he has no plan to change directions. They will go for Kerry.

6. I agree with you
People are getting fed up with the negative ads and are starting to tune them out. I can't see anyone but the faithful bothering to watch this program. There are other, more compelling programs to watch right now, like the World Series.

7. AAR played a preview of the Sinclair documentary.
It is so inflammatory and over-the-top that the only ones listening will be die-hard wingnuts and people too stupid to find their way to the polls.
