In my brief check-what-the-enemy-is-saying session via the car radio today, I heard The Big Fat Liar bring up the "nuisance" talking point for the GOP, right on cue. He read the quote from Kerry and of course went on and on about it. His words were quite telling...as usual, with Limbaugh, the exact words weren't what stood out, it was what he didn't realize he was saying because he's...well...too shallow a thinker, I guess.
So, he's discussing the "nuisance" quote, and says Kerry simply wants to do everything the way it was done in those dark days of Bill Clinton, when terrorists blew up stuff all over the world and he treated it as a law enforcement problem (oddly, he listed many terrorist events, including Mogadishu and the bombings under Reagan -- he needs a fix, I think). He mentioned Jamie Garelik (sp?) who "put up a wall" between law enforcement agencies, and once again tied Clinton into it. And then we repeatedly emphasized how this was
"incomprehensible." In fact, it was "completely incomprehensible, literally. This is just incomprehensible why Kerry would say such a thing." He repeated "incomprehensible" several times...and then...
"My friends, the media is treating this as brilliant strategy on Kerry's part, that somehow he understands the issue better, that he is nuanced, and that we, the plebes, are too simple to understand his great thinking..." (I am paraphrasing from memory).
So, Mr. Limbaugh, let me get this straight...you're saying you don't understand why Kerry said what he did, don't understand its meaning? It is "incomprehensible," you say? So it appears that in fact Senator Kerry DOES INDEED understand the issue better than you plebes, because you yourself admitted what he said was incomprehensible to you, although it is actually being regarded as brilliant strategy! Get it, Rushy? You ARE too dumb to understand it...you said so yourself.
But then...you probably don't understand that, either.
