If the issue is whether or not a candidate has the ability to run on his record, let's not forget--Bush is the "incumbent". He's the one who has been doing the job (poorly) and shouldn't be at the point where he's smearing the challenger--but that's precisely where he is. Bush, were he effective at the job, could just point to his own record, but it's plain he can't. Who can't hide, W?

He repeated the phrase back at him, and added Reagan's "The facts can be stubborn things." Essentially saying that Bush is the one hiding.
