CNN: NO POLLS SHOW BUSH ABOVE 50%
and favorable ratings are down in all polls. This is CNN talking! Bush's numbers have gone steadily down in EVERY POLL since the first debate, and now are below 50% in EVERY POLL.

Chimp goin' down.

3. I watch CNN until they piss me off
So I usually average watching about 3 minutes.
But today, they have been pretty fair...and balanced.

I'm sure it is just temporary.

4. That's supposed to be toxic for any incumbent - to be below 50%,
AND, to be there this close to an election.

All polls?

Whoa. NO TIME TO GET COMPLACENT, THOUGH!!!

6. Wash Post/ABC has Chimp at 51%. Go figure.
I don't think they are adjusting their samples for the 2000 turnout. Even Gallup is doing that now.

8. Gallup adjusting?
are you sure? I'm skeptical, I thought I just saw a Gallup person defending their methodologies, after MoveOn.org ran that ad.

9. that's right
Important to note, however, that ABC/WP in 2000 had Bush leading over Gore in many (most?) of their Oct tracking polls.

soon. Like I said over the weekend. All that blowhard, arrogant, know nothing arrogance is not as charming as BushCo believes. The problem with all the shit that they're trying now is that it serves only the most entrenched of Bush's base. And so what? Were they even thinking of voting for Kerry. No they were not.... Everytime I see an alleged Bush Leaner/Undecided, I know he or she is lying and that vote is going to Bush.

And while Sinclair could be a problem, it could also backfire. Kerry was so relentlessly massacred on the Vietnam issue, bloodied and pummeled and he still came back and appears to be making the comeback kid move of the century. He is a tough fighter, pure and simple yet he looks and speaks like the prototypical president.

There are some Americans who do react negatively to some of this stuff, especially after being hit over the hit over and over again. Bottom line is if Bush performs as poorly Wednesday as he did in Debate One and as Strung Out Belligerent as he did in #2, unfavorability won't be his only problem.
