I like NV, OH, FL, NM, NH for Kerry at this point.

Kerry's got a real shot at MO, CO, AR, WV but will likely need a +3 or better in the PV

With a +4 or better, it will be an electoral rout.

Since we can't rely on an honest count in those two states. If he gets them, great, but I don't think we should feel cozy if our lead includes those two states. (How sad is that for our great "democracy"?)

That gives him 269. If the CO split passes and survives a court challenge that would be the win.

But I like both OH and FL for Kerry. I am not as concerned as some with possible vote stealing - spotlight, I hope, would be too strong. If it happens, though, we're in for out and out single governing party totalitarianism... so watch your back.

If we could tie Bush directly to the Plame outing we could probably get close to the limit.

I'd feel more comfortable if Kerry was sitting at about 325--BBV will play a part in this election--but I'll take 271. I'll take 270. I'll take anything that gives Kerry the right to tell George to get his shit out of the White House.
