Another benefit of George W. Bush losing: Less George P. Bush in the media
"We know each other" my ASS.

There were stories all over the web yesterday about continuing disenchantment with Bush among Latino / Hispanic voters, and all of a sudden, TODAY, like magic, Unca George sends this clueless little dink out to stump for him and reassure this demographic that "We know each other?" I assume that in the photo below he's telling the assembled crowd (I count 3) about the size of his uncle's nut sack or something equally important.

On one hand he's right. They DO know him, and they're NOT going to be voting for him. They've already answered the Kerry question about "Are you doing better than you were four years ago?"

George P. Bush, foreground, nephew of President George W. Bush (news - web sites), speaks at EMI Technologies in Las Cruces, N.M. Monday, Oct. 11, 2004. With him are White House Chief Counsel Alberto Gonzalez, left, SBA administrator Hector Barreto, center, and former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin, right. The younger Bush helped kick-off the 'Nos Conocemos' campaign in New Mexico, which means 'We know each other'. (AP Photo/El Paso Times, Rudy Gutierrez)

3. That's the pattern with Bush for companies, organizations, ethnic groups
1). Scheduled visit / photo op, talk of how he is going to help you

2). Bush and photographers leave

3). You are screwed, blued, tattooed by Emperor Bunnypants. "But I thought he said he was going to HELP me?"

:grr:

6. He's Latino like his uncle's Latino.
I nearly spit my drink out when I heard him speaking "Spanish" at the convention. Couldn't even pronounce a simple word correctly.

7. Encouraging - I got sick of Senor Flagrante Delicto back in 2000
The Daily Show had his number during their RNC coverage.

9. You can bet they're grooming him for a presidential run

eventually. They'd like to have a Bush in the White House from here to eternity. "P" is twenty-five or so now, so they figure that after four more years of W and eight years of Jeb, he'll be old enough to run himself. How's that for a dynasty? It literally makes me feel sick. W must lose!

Edited for spelling.

11. Isn't he the 'little brown one' mentioned by 41?

For my money, the faster we can get Billy Bush off the air, the better. What...a...lightweight.
