more Swift Boat lies. Pathetic! Even CNN's Bill Schneider said today that Dubya is in trouble with a job approval under 50--it's actually 47% in the gallup poll.

Furthermore, Ron Brownstein, political reporter for the Los Angeles Times, says that the job approval number correlates very closely with the percentage of votes that an incumbent president receives. Bad news for Dubya, indeed!

They are desperate, folks.

1. Fight or flight...

Let's hope they don't blow something up, ala the Reichstag.

2. someone else on here noted that
Bush is attacking Kerry while Kerry is attacking issues on Iraq, the economy, etc. The Repubs are desperate and their actions are taking on the mantle of a lunatic.

5. One of the political reporters last week noted that the "race" is
really whether the Bush campaign can tear down Kerry before they themselves are overtaken by events that they can't control.

4. Which is why
we must keep our eyes on the prize and be on the look out for more and dirtier tricks. This is too easy and way too desperate. They're sinking and we're sailing. Gotta keep working, stay on message, and vote, vote, vote. The smell of fear. There's nothing quite like it!

7. Has to be desperation.
Sinclair Broadcasting is risking its business by FORCING its stations to show this garbage. They had to expect a backlash, and one they cannot afford considering how poorly the company has been doing over the past couple of years. That is one hell of the roll of the dice.

UNLESS, the idea from the beginning was never to run it, but to call attention to this Smear movie. Free promotion, news time, thereby diverting attention away from the the tragic excuse for a president in the White House.

In any case, it reinforces the argument for John Kerry that this administration will allow and resort to lies, cheating, misleading statements, smears and dirt wallowing. Satan would be embarrassed.

Shrub by his own actions (or lack thereof) has proven once again that he cannot be trusted. The only job in America he cares about is his own.

8. you're on the money tex
this is a diversion. Although we have to fight it, we'd best to fight it quietly. Look at what it's already doing, getting us off message talking about swift lies again. Instead of talking about Iraq, gas prices, economy and health care, we are once again talking about smears and lies. Let's not let this backfire on us! Stay ON MESSAGE!
