Last time we meekly sat in stunned silence and did nothing. The House Black Caucus was the only governmental entity to stand up and protest that raw abuse of political power. They needed ONE Senator to stand with them, and none had the courage to fight what was obviously a blatant rightwing coup.

Today, I am heartened by the reaction of the DNC and Terry McAuliffe to a similar attempt at election theft. I hadn't been introduced to Internet message boards in 2000, so I don't know what went down on them in terms of outrage and outcry, but I see it now, and it's a beautiful thing to behold. I heard a Sinclair stooge on Aaron Brown start to back down from absolutely stating they would show the lying piece of shit, at least with its current content. The only reason they would demur is because of negative consumer and stock holder reaction against them. We must never passively allow the fascist thugs to pull off another Selection 2000. If it happens despite our best efforts at least we'll know we fought like hell against the darkness.
