1. I gotta go with Alan
even though he has no chance of winning. Living in IL, I gotta put up with his shit, albeit only a little while longer. Sorry Marylander Duers, you can have him back Nov. 3.

Alan Keyes is so scary, the REPUBLICANS don't want anything to do with him.

Keyes has said "Jesus wouldn't vote for my opponent" several times at different speeches.

Not only is he a first class nutjob, but he's also living in a different realm of reality.

4. Keyes has nothing on Coburn ...
Keyes is a lunatic and an idiot.

Coburn is a criminal psychopath who thinks it is his duty to sterilize women he personally doesn't deem worthy of having children.

5. I went with DeMint
Edited on Tue Oct-12-04 12:36 AM by uhhuh
I think Keyes is more insane by a little bit, but I'm not scared of him because he has no chance of winning. Coburn is trying his hardest to lose in a conservative state with his craziness. DeMint is currently likely to be elected. That's scary!!

On Edit:

I would have went with the last answer if I had seen your edit.

7. Coburn hands down.
Between forced sterilizations of underage girls and obsessions with nubile young high school lesbians, I think he pretty much has it wrapped up.

8. I would choose alan keyes but
since he has about as much chance of winning the election as Hitler does, I'll just say they're all nuts.

12. Although Keyes is a certified idiot,
I think Mel Martinez in Florida is the scariest. He is running on the repug ticket for the vacancy because Graham is retiring. Martinez has been all over FL this past year and his opening act is Lee Greenwood. I went to a Greenwood concert this past winter that was suppose to honor all veterans of all wars, and it turned into a surprise campaign rally for bush and Martinez. I was so offended that I wrote to Greenwood and Martinez telling them it was a dirty trick. Why should they be campaigning on my dime?? I will NEVER go to another Greenwood concert. (Besides, he was horrible.) And yet, the Repugs had a hissy fit because Linda Ronstadt and the Dixie Chicks made their opinions public? Talk about a double standard. They (repugs) make me sick!!!

13. Mel Martinez (Florida)
Carl Hiaasen column in the Miami Herald says it better than I can.

"The Jekyll-to-Hyde transformation of U.S. Senate candidate Mel Martínez is now complete.

A once-progressive Republican who counted leaders of both parties among his admirers, Martínez has morphed into a nasty right-wing drooler. His conversion has been swift and appalling.

It began with the GOP primary campaign in which Martínez blasted former Rep. Bill McCollum as ''anti-family'' for supporting advanced stem-cell research.

Anti-family? That's the equivalent of flipping the middle finger at everyone who has a relative afflicted with Alzheimer's, and who dares to hope for a cure.

But Martínez wasn't done yet. He offended even more people by running commercials that attacked McCollum for supporting hate-crime laws. Martínez called him ``the new darling of homosexual extremists.''

The absurdity was obvious to anyone who had followed McCollum's ultra-conservative career"

Of the others, one is not healthy and maby God will take care of that one for us, If I recall a post I saw yesterday, DeMint is not doing so well in the polls, so That leaves the crook.
