Bush said war on terror can't be won
I'm sorry, but every time I see a post with the word "nuisance" in it, I'm going to remind people Bush said he didn't think we could win the war on terror. Now which do you prefer, a President who wants to work so that terrorists become nothing more than nuisances, people who are there but causing no damage? OR a President who thinks we can't win the war on terror at all?

THINK people and put your energy where it does most good, fighting Bush and expressing shock and dismay that he doesn't think we can win the war on terror.

2. We can't forget this line from Oct 8th:
"The truth of the matter is if you listen carefully Saddam would still be in power if he were the president of the United States. And the world would be a lot better off." -President Bush, 2004 debates.

So what the President is saying is that if Saddam Hussein were President of the United States, Saddam Hussein would still be President of the United States, and the world would be a lot better off having Saddam Hussein in control of America.

Sorry, it's gonna take some work to convince me of that, George.

3. I know this is factual, I remember hearing it but does anybody
have a link to an article with a quote?
I will use it in my nightly email to my repuk friends but I need a link to back it up.
I only send them stuff that I can verify or humor.

5. the quote and the link
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5866571

Lauer: You said to me a second ago, one of the things you'll lay out in your vision for the next four years is how to go about winning the war on terror. That phrase strikes me a little bit. Do you really think we can win this war on terror in the next four years?

President Bush: I have never said we can win it in four years.

Lauer: So I’m just saying can we win it? Do you see that?

President Bush: I don’t think you can win it. But I think you can create conditions so that those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world — let's put it that way.
