did Sinclair destroy our post debate spin?
I think it may have. We were too focused on it to respond effectively to the second debate.

Am I full of shit?

1. Yes, you are full of...

Well, maybe that is too harsh.

We won the second debate, and opinion polls still reflect this. Kerry got a modest bump in some post debate polls, although this may or may not be noise.

Our spin is fine.

6. Post-debate spin is just spin.
Only the severely politically retarded (the ones not born that way) could possibly think that successful political strategists were happy with George W. Brainfried actually performed well.

we didn't need to spin the second debate. kerry won that too. you only have to spin when you don't win.

4. Gallup poll out yesterday--Kerry won the debate by 15 points
So I don't think it's a question of who won.

The more we talk up Sinclair, the more it helps Bush. Sort of like F9/11. The White House decided to not say a word about it because any attention it gave to the film would cost them.

We should stop talking about Sinclair and quietly take action (see Talking points memo site for info on how).

5. Oh I agree there is no question
that kerry won. But when you have idiots like the HArdball crew and Cokie nutcase on CNN you need to spin them.

7. Yes-I can spit and chew gum at the same time.
I can also write letters, make phone calls, listen to AAR, watch two TV's and cruise the internets at the same time. I also will work at the polls and I do GOTV. I may have to sleep for a week after the votes are counted and my house looks like a tank went through it. But nothing should slip by us unchallenged. Remember what happened when John Kerry let the Swift Boat Liars go unchallenged for a while?
