Wouldn't it be prudent to ask the Commission on Presidential Debates to check the candidates to make sure they're not wearing some sort of radio receiver? If there was something like one of those scanners they use at airports, this task could be done with great discretion. Neither campaign could reasonably object to this request, so do you think we should contact the Commission on Presidential Debates?

I can't find an email address for them, but maybe someone else knows of one:

1. Heck, give them drug tests.
word is the chimp was tweaked during the last debate. Every other federal employee is subject to drug testing, why not him?

2. The rules were already set
Nobody thought of "wires" but should have. The infant king needs his pacifier.

3. Are you sure such devices are not covered in the rules?
I thought the candidates were not allowed to bring anything along with them, hence the near hysteria with JK's pen. I'm guessing that such a device would definitely be covered.

4. They are covered.
Bush should be forced to debate in a faraday cage.

5. But ...
The rules might already be set, but it would be in the public interest to ask the candidates to agree to be scanned. Why would anyone object? ;)
