4. What oil?
From the IAMB July 15th, 2004:

We had previously announced our concern about inadequate controls over Iraqi oil and other aspects of the DFI's operation. In particular, we have repeatedly raised the following issues with the CPA during the meetings we have been having with them, as they have been briefing us as we went on forward with our job.

The first one is the absence of oil metering. We had recommended last March the expeditious installation of metering equipment in accordance with oil industry standard practices.

5. All you pessimistic DEMs
Its your doom and gloom additude and 'talking down' of the economy for the past 4 years that has been the cause of all the economic problems

Democrats just don't want to see this president succeed.

Its all your fault. The president is not responsible for the economic conditions in the country. Clinton did it!! (reminds me of the south park episode 'simpsons did it')

Must watch faux news.... Must watch faux news

7. I don't think anyone wants to hear about it.
We want to retire on our 401k's and have the kids go out and do the work. Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen. Some of the much older folks may enjoy that privelege for a few years, but in all likelihood their money will run out long before their health will. ANd then we will have trouble.

9. How high is needed to overpower the Sinclair distraction?
this is one of the reasons I haven't been bothering with the sinclair thing. I refuse to let Rove distract us from important issues.

16. Not lately
Whether or not it's low historically (with some adjustments and such), it's not been this high in over a decade, right? And that's the kicker for most people.

12. How is the cost of crude oil affecting the price of gas at the pump?
Has the cost of gas in the US been rising in proportion to the cost of crude?

15. no, the oil companies are keeping the price at the pump as low as possible
they fear that high gasoline prices will hurt their puppet president

the oil companies do NOT want Kerry in office, as he is less likely to invade and steal oil for them

look for gasoline prices to skyrocket after the election, regardless of who wins

13. This is GREAT GREAT news for Bush's friends in the oil business
how would you like it if the crap you pumped out of the ground tripled in price?

The oil companies are ecstatic at this. So are their shareholders. They have never before had profits like this.
