The Military is running out of money....
... A military mother at the Edwards event in Colorado just said that she and her friends are sending money to their sons in Iraq for essentials because their sons superiors are telling them that the military is running out of money.

This really hits home for just about all Americans - does anybody have additional info on this subject?

2. Don't you know
its better to give tax cuts to the rich, than to worry about soldiers having money.

3. Must be about time to raise the debt sealing again
and sell off a little more of our wealth to China and Japan and any other takers. When are they going to treat this as the national security risk it is?

5. Well, maybe if they stopped giving all the money to Halliburton ...
they'd be in a better financial situation! :grr: :eyes:

I've heard Randi Rhodes talk about families sending essentials to the troops, but I couldn't find any links to articles about it on her web site. :-(

6. money
But Kerry voted for the $87 billion before he voted against it....ha
I am glad that Kerry voted against the 87 billion giveaway to
Halliburton

The Military should be prepared and stocked all the time
and not count on these appropriations

8. You can bet they won't run out of money
when it comes to finding billions demanded by the "defense" industry coporate war profiteers for the latest star wars boondogle/pork barrel project.
