he's either the most evil person on the planet or the most deluded:

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Vice President Dick Cheney, who acknowledged last week that Iraq had produced no weapons of mass destruction after 1991, said Tuesday that under Saddam Hussein the country likely could have served as a source of weapons for terrorists.
"The situation we faced was Saddam Hussein and Iraq presented the most likely place where there could be a nexus between the terrorists on the one hand and weapons of mass destruction," Cheney said.

Wait....you JUST SAID there were no weapons....but if there are no weapons, how can they be a SOURCE for weapons.....you have to actually HAVE the weapons before you can be a SOURCE for them, and you've acknowledged that Iraq DIDN'T HAVE ANY weapons....

(Roger Waters screaming voice) IF YA DON'T HAVE THE WEAPONS, YA CAN'T SUPPLY THE TERRORIST.....HOW CAN YOU SUPPLY THE TERRORIST IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE WEAPONS?!?!

excuse me while my head explodes.

3. If Iraq was the "most likely place",
then we were even safer than I thought.

Right. And if we had some ham we could have some ham and eggs. If we had some eggs.

Not true, not false...just another opinion. The problem is simple: the bush/cheyney cult followers make no distinction between fact and opinion. They take both on faith.
