The Constitution Party

well, now I know why I only got a 6% parity score on these guys. Theocratic butt munchers. I'd never even heard about them till I took the parity survey, but apparently they do have someone running for President.

3. They are rabidly anti-Bush though.
You do have to like that about them.

http://www.constitutionparty.com/news.php?aid=113

James Bovard and Bob Barr are correct: America has been betrayed by President George W. Bush! Mr. Bush has proved himself unfaithful to virtually every precept of conservative, constitutional principles. As such, a John Kerry presidency would be no worse. In fact, it might even be better as conservatives would suddenly have their blinders removed and might actually start acting like conservatives again.

Of course, the best alternative would be to elect a true constitutional conservative as President. And the only such candidate for this year's election who meets that criteria is Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party. It is for the above reasons and more that I was happy to accept Michael's invitation to be his Vice Presidential running mate.

2. They are pretty crazy

They are what some right wingers wish the Republican party could be. I think there was sometalk about Judge Moore (of the ten commandments deal) running as their candidate.

4. I was thinking those two would be a perfect match.
It's too bad they didn't do it. We could have been guarenteed at least 4 points off Bush's percentage, maybe more, and they defiantely would have gotten enough free advertising to help it happen.

5. It's a big mistake by Democrats to constantly talk about Nader.
But never ever mention the Constitution Party.

Why is it that every poll includes some guy (Nader) who is polling 1%, but the polls never mention the Constitution Party candidate? If Democrats start making them part of the conversation, they will definitely pull votes from Bush.

8. Or Libertarians
Seeing more and more conservatives going for Badnarik. I wouldn't be surprised if he got more votes than Ralph. And, if Ralph cares so much about the party system, why isn't he speaking up for Badnarik and others who are running for President?

7. I got it from here.
There is another one over on the Minnesota Public Radio site, but I like this one better since it includes the CP, Greens, Socialists and Libertarians in their results.
