Local TV affiliate told to air anti-Kerry film

A major broadcast company that owns and provides programming to TV stations in Tallahassee, Pensacola and Tampa is being accused of crossing the line between delivering news and picking a presidential favorite.

Sinclair Broadcasting Group has ordered the local NBC station to air a film about John Kerry in prime time in the final weeks before the election. It criticizes the Democratic nominee for speaking against the Vietnam War while testifying to Congress after he returned from combat.
