Since it's rather rare to see the "liberal news media" report on stolen Kerry signs, here's one short report that is bucking the trend.

Police say several political signs have been damaged, and they add this may be just the beginning.

Someone stole more than 50 "Kerry/Edwards" signs around the area and dumped them outside the Peace and Justice Center on Park Street in Bangor.

Many had been spray painted by a group calling itself "The Youth Patriot."

In addition to leaving the pile of signs, the culprits also left a letter that criticized the Peace and Justice Center for all its anti-war protests.

1. The local media in Maine isn't as bad as it is

in other parts of the country.

Youth Patriot? More like young dumbass. It's probably a high school kid.

2. They're getting whacked in Southern ME too.

Including an inspiring 4x8 Kerry sign on my drive to work - it was shredded.

BUT - the B/C signs are getting hit too.

The B/C signs are all generic, and popping up on street corners as if some hired goons planted them in the middle of the night.

The K/E signs are a bit more diverse - like their supporters are.
