Three Illinois stations to air controversial documentary
UNDATED Three central Illinois television stations are planning to air a controversial documentary later this month that focuses on Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's opposition to the Vietnam war. Sinclair Broadcast Group has asked its 62 television stations across the country to air the film before the November Second election. Democratic Party officials and some U-S senators object to the move -- calling it an illegal in-kind contribution to President Bush's campaign.
In Illinois, W-Y-Z-Z T-V in Peoria, W-I-C-D T-V in Champaign and W-I-C-S T-V in Springfield are all airing "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal."
A general manager for W-Y-Z-Z says the film will air on October 22nd at seven p-m. And W-I-C-D and W-I-C-S plan to show it on October 23rd at eight p-m.

Yup, we need to get the word out. Someone said that going after the nightly news' advertisers is the most effective thing to do. I'm going to tape it tonight, I'll get anyone posting in this thread a list of them.
