9. He's Saving Granny From Those Evil Canadian Drugs... |
|
He's making us safe from pharamcutical companies, insurance companies, the large investment houses that have squandered their savings.
Now why in heavens wouldn't Commander Bunnypants want to face these folks. It's not like going to the NAACP or anything.

3. If Bush and the AARP worked together on the drug bill........ |
|
I don´t understand why Bush would be afraid to attend. The 60,000 who were dissatisfied enough to quit won´t be there anyway. I don´t get it.

|
this is important because anyone trying to collect benefits knows the TRUTH and * is too afraid he can't answer their question - let's send in the "little lady".

7. He'd probably do it if they all signed loyalty oaths. |

We all know how he feels about not speaking to people who disagree with him.

12. The Bush campaign obviously couldn't screen out enough detractors |
|
from the AARP meeting. So, by not hearing any anger and hate over his prescription drug plan for seniors, Bush will continue his delusion that everyone loves him and what he stands for.
I've gotta believe that Bush is going to be in for one rude awakening on the evening of November 2.
It will be even more interesting to see how he reacts when it happens.

Passing up the opportunity to speak to 25,000 people who belong to a demographic that almost always votes is just plain stupid. Dubya knows his Medicare deal is a load of shit.
Sad he has to have his wife fight his battles for him. Wimp.

15. Good night's shirt, afraid of a bunch of gray-haired grannies |
|
Scared a bunch of 60somethings will thrash your sorry butt instead of kiss it?
Let's see, what would they like to know? Why their medicare went up 17%? Why they can't get cheaper drugs from Canada? Why they can't afford to stay in their homes? Why they can't afford the cost of home heating oil? Why they can't afford electricity? Don't ask Grandma Millie in California that question, though, or she's gonna kick someone's Enron lovin' ass all the way back to Texas.
Guess what? Not all seniors are senile as Bush well knows. Some are sharp as a tack. And I bet most of the members of AARP vote. I also suspect they are mostly Kerry votes by now.
