Wesley Clark Comes Out Swinging...
"John Kerry is a tough-minded guy. He will keep America safe," Clark said. "When George Bush was a cheerleader, John Kerry was playing hockey."

1. I hope he didn't mean cheerleader in the literal sense....
Cuz that also takes coordination and cognition....

5. Oh, it's quite literal...
Bush was a cheerleader in prep school and in college. Yay, team!!

Why this guy gets the "testosterone vote," I'll never know.

'Specially when our guy wins the He-Man Studliness contest hands-down:

15. Not true. If Bush showed up on the sideline of a game in Miami back then..
dressed up in his little hat and "A" sweater....... the game would have friggin' stopped. Yea, I could see Norland vs Northwestern at Traz Powell Stadium... called MDJC North back in the 60's....and that little twerp shows up with that megaphone.....

The laughter casued would have injured several players.

I appreciate the sentiment but, I'd of hit somewhere else more substantive. I don't really care that W was a cheerleader. What I'd like to hear is how W can't seem to put together one functioning, coherent domestic or foreign policy.

21. But to potential swing voters in this election, it matters a lot
This is the biggest macho pissing contest I've ever seen. It's ALL about Bush acting tough, claiming Kerry is not tough, Kerry proving he is tough, surrogates saying Bush is not tough, etc... The toughness factor is huge this year.

Should it be about "tough?" No, except in the sense of integrity, not maleness and "balls."

IS it about "tough?" Yes, to a great extent, it is.

Makes me wonder how and when we'll ever see a woman president.

(In any case, General Clark is hammering on foreign policy issues, too.)

and when it comes from a General it has much more meaning. i think that's why Kerry named all those Generals supporting him .
