Would you vote for the Tin Man or the Scarecrow?

This was a question in the recent Zogby online survey:

"Who would you more likely vote for president - the Tin Man, who is all brains and no heart or the Scarecrow, who is all heart and no brain?"

I wonder why they asked that.

I guess he's trying to make an analogy to Bush being dumb but with a lot of heart, and Kerry being brilliant but ........doesn't have a heart?
That's the only conclusion I could come up with, but it doesn't make any sense to me. I know Bush is dumb, but he doesn't have a heart or soul either. Kerry on the other hand, is brilliant and compassionate.
Who knows what the hell Zogby was trying to conclude with that question.

It was a very interesting poll though. Had a lot of different questions in many different placements. One of their best polls to date IMHO.

13. I selected the Tin Man, but wasn't sure of the

significance of the question. How about all those questions about Civil Liberties, Personal Freedoms and Values??? Since all of those questions take a long time to really think out, I can only conclude that he wanted our immediate, knee-jerk reactions, not deep thinking. I hope.
