Debate?---Who Many Million Viewers Do You Think
Tomorrow's debate will get? I am hoping as many as the second but that of course was a Friday. This should be easier a much easier night to attract viewers.

1. I disagree about Fri being easier.
Fri night, people go out, they watch HS football, they have their shows they want to watch, etc. No, Fri is much harder to get an audience, and I would bet viewership will be 20% to 30% less than last Wed.

2. Okay, now I'm confused
The debate is tomorrow, Wednesday, while the last debate was on Friday. I think the point was that tomorrow's viewership level will be much higher than that of the second debate. That's the way I took it, anyway. Besides, this being the final debate, I think more people will tune in than ever -- particularly to see if Bush has a meltdown.

3. You're right. My brain is fried again. Old age I guess.
I hope you are right and there will be more people watching. We'll see. The only big problem I see with tomorrows debate is it's conflict with the Baseball playoff game. Which one do you think will draw more fans?

4. Watching live? Probably baseball for many
They can always tape the debate. I tape it, even though I'm watching live. Do we know how many watched the second debate on Friday? That sounds like it might be a good number, considering how many other distractions there are on a typical Friday. That ought to equal a playoff game, at any rate. Or come close.

With the awareness of the possibility that Junior is wired, though, (Barbara Walters and others discussing the distinct possibility -- with visual aids using their own wireless equipment! -- on 'The View' today, plus mention in other media) I think a LOT of people will tune in just to stare at * to see if they can catch him cheating. One twitch out of place or one too-long pause and they'll think they've caught him, for sure! LOL! Hey, whatever works.
