Mark Shannon is a morning talk show host on the conservative radio station WKY AM 930 in OKC. His show is filled with hateful, racist, homophobic and vile rants against anyone who does not fall into lockstep with his rethug beliefs. This is just the latest outrage by this jerk.

Yes, this radio guy is an asshole, but what fight are you going to go after.. The only one I see that is viable right now is this Sinclair.. All this does is cause him to issue an apology and have his ratings go up.. I have already engaged in the Sinclair fight. I called everyone on the list, I e-mailed Sinclair, FCC and FEC. Even though this is the one of our fights, it is not the only one. If I can get one hate filled right wing racist off the air, we will have won a battle in a larger war. This group of people at DU is perfect for fighting this type of battle. The conservatives control what they do because of their ability to focus and operate in a like minded fashion. We can take that control back by doing the same. We do our cause no favor by infighting.

on as many websites as possible so we can call, boycott advertisers, etc. It is time to attack every person and group distorting the truth, spewing hatred and polarizing this country with propaganda. Sinclair has angered me so much that I will no longer put up with this ongoing BS, our country needs to be saved from these fascists.

I was feeling so good last night after watching the Vote For Change concert and today I have spent all of my time making calls, emailing, etc. protesting this nightmare. We need to take this country back, it will not be easy.
