The stacked deck on Hardball is getting ridiculous
You have Ben Ginsburg, a raving bloodthirsty highly partisan right-wing Republican on the panel. And who's supposed to counter that? Certainly not the journalists they have. And not Chris Matthews. Sure, he worked for Tip O'Neill and Jimmy Carter, but that was thirty years ago. He hasn't had a nice thing to say about Democrats in at least ten years.

So who does that leave? Ron Reagan, Jr. Don't get me wrong -- Ron's a nice guy. And that's the problem -- he's TOO nice. And while he's clearly voting for Kerry, he's not a Democrat, much less a partisan Democrat. He's not willing to lie for Kerry, like Ginsburg is willing to lie for Bush.

2. If it's any comfort to you
no one watches Hardball. However, they should at least have a Kerry rep on, like Joe Lockhart.

3. Ron will hold his ground for our side.
And he is the Gipper's son, too. That has to be an ongoing tweak for the wingers.

10. He's outgunned 2-1, and his heart isn't even in the game
Sorry, but you must be living with Bush in the state of denial, because Regan's overmatched. He's not a partisan Democrat. He's not even a Democrat. He's an independent. Ben Ginsburg is a right-wing do-or-die Republican. He's willing to lie through his teeth. Reagan isn't.

11. Yeah...Ginsberg of Clinton Impeachment, Supreme Court Selection of Chimp,
and Patriot Act..etc...etc...etc..working with Ted Olson and the rest of them...to destroy the US Constitution.

Problem is...Ginsberg is such a believable, sad-eyed guy...you just want to take him home and adopt him from "the Pound."

Ugh...that Tweety could stoop to having him on is disgusting...but Ginsberg belongs to the old MSNBC Stable from the "Geraldo/Clinton/Blue Dress" days. And, MSNBC doesn't like to forget their "Glory Days."

Glory Days...Glory Days....wasn't that Springsteen's song about baseball? = Hardball? eeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

5. Matthews is making me sick. I fully expect him to declare Bush the winner
tomorrow night. Heck, he may not even wait until tomorrow, he'll probably just declare him the winner tonight.

6. Do or don't watch it, but he's polling kids at the college
now and asking why they're voting for their candidate. Very interesting, and pretty much 50/50 opinions. War and pro-choice/life are major factors swaying these students.

7. It'll be pretty funny to watch those kids
who are chanting Bush, Bush, Bush when their asses get drafted if Chimpy wins.

8. Good Grief, Dolstein....if you are that sick of it...I'm glad I quit him
long ago. Now, it's not like I don't see his promo's from time to time and get suckered once in awhile...but everytime I do...I end up disliking him and the Media Promo folks more and more.

If there was something on besides Faux for Political Junkies...we might have an alternative. This is the only thing keeping "Tweety Blow in the Wind..which way..which way" a factor here on DU...

We who have given up on him get suckered into endless "Tweety Sucks" posts when we feel we are "above it all" for warning you all. :D

9. Thank God Kerry doesn't need anyone to lie for him. Kerry is on the side
of truth. All he needs is for someone to stand up for him in truth!
:) But, I agree with you. When I saw the panel that Matthews had assembled for his hardball experience tonight, I simply turned the t.v. off ... and, here I sit. }(
