Political Firsts:
This season's General Election represents a number of "firsts" for me.

First time to ever contribute to a political campaign. (Clark, then Kerry)

First time to ever attend a political meeting/meetup.

First time to ever perform any volunteer work with a campaign.

First time to ever phone bank on behalf of a campaign.


How about the rest of you? I've talked to a number of people who are registering/voting for the first time, in order to scrub the shrub.

1. Yep, me too!
On all accounts. Also went to Dem caucus (Maine) for first time and am taking vacation day so I can help get out the vote Nov 2.

Hope to see Elizabeth Edwards tomorrow morning and do more work in local office, too.
