Screw the lawn! Put aside everything you can and focus on winning this election.

Pour it on--your time, your effort, your money.

We've got a good candidate. Beyond his service in 'Nam, his courage in standing up against that war upon his return was heroic--an act of supreme loyaly to his brothers in arms.

We've got momenteum on our side. Keep it going. We should not aspire to win but to win BIG! We must repudiate this administration!

Be alert though--the other side is desperate. They're losing on the issues so all they can do is smear. And cheat--read this:

There's a whole bunch of stuff That needs to be done. That is certainly one of them--also: Rallies, telephoning, gotv canvassing, letter-writing. What have I forgotten?

Basically, it's to be VIGILANT!

As far as the BBV issues, not sure what can be done other than to just be out there watching. Be on the alert. Keep a light shining on it. Keep talking about it so more people are aware of it. Think of cockroaches. You shine a light on 'em and they scatter. Harder to sneak stuff when you realize more people might be watching. We need to keep them on the defensive. kkkarl is pretty good at setting lots of fires all over the place to keep us frantic, frenzied, and overwhelmed. THE SAME CAN BE DONE TO HIM, PEOPLE. He needs so many holes in the dyke that all the fingers in the White House, RNC, and Congress can't plug them all.

Just be vigilant. Another pair of eyes and ears. Another sentry on duty. We need MANY.

Remember Mad-Eye Moody! He's maybe my favorite character in the Harry Potter books (the last two, anyway). Gnarled veteran wizard/warrior who clearly has been through many battles, hired to teach "Defense Against the Dark Arts" at Harry's wizarding school. One of his key phrases, that he uses all the time with his young charges, is "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!"

That applies extremely well here and now. He also had one eyeball that was a replacement for the one he lost in some wizard battle, that could roll around looking in ANY direction, including the back of his head. Hence the nickname "Mad-Eye." We need to BE him. This is gonna be a LONG three weeks.

VIGILANCE, my loves. CONSTANT VIGILANCE. They can only succeed with their icky stuff if they think you're not looking. That's the kind of thing they deal with, anyway - stuff that's best done when the opponent isn't looking, or isn't paying attention, or distracted, or lulled into complacency, or thinks it's all over already, or that it won't do any good.
