Anyone know how Massachusetts primary works?
I'm not sure whether to vote for Kerry or Clark. I think Clark, at this point has a much better chance of winning the primary than Kerry, and a slightly better chance of winning the general election.

Both there platforms are pretty good, although I think Kerry could do without his youth service program, which I think would lose him more votes than gain him.

But it looks like Dean has a chance of winning the Mass primary, which drives me to campaign for and vote for Kerry here anyway.

1. Since you think Dean will
win anyway, do you want to vote for the man you think the best possible candidate for President, or do you want to vote for the man who could one, win the nomination and two, win the general election. Assuming those two are not the same.

And if Dean wins the nomination, will you go out and campaign for him?

3. Hell no. I think Dean is a horrible candidate and an unlikable person
I probably would not vote in the presidential column at the polls if he were the nominee

2. What do you mean by how the MA. primary works?
I'm a MA. voter and Kerry supporter, the only thing that would prevent me from voting for him is if he dropped out. I don't really like Kerry's youth service program either, but it's not a deal breaker. I also like Clark and Edwards.

Honestly Bombtrack I tried voting strategically in the MA. governor's race (the primary) and it totally backfired. I won't do that again, I'll vote for the person who I want to win and let the chips fall where they may.
