Who was the jackass feeding that crap to Bush? Whoever it was, they don't have a clue.

1. Maybe Bush is partially deaf and doesn't want anyone to know. Could

be why he makes mistakes. Or maybe he's dyslexic and can't read the teleprompter except slowly, maybe he needs someone telling him in his ear what the words are?

Partial deafness in a man his age isn't unusual. Remember Clinto had to get a hearing aid in the last part of his Presidency. But, if Bush can't read or memorize then he needs help and being partially deaf the box serves two purposes.

He hates to admit infirmity...could be ego and they are trying to hope it all goes away. :shrug:

2. all they could really do is feed him one or two words at a time reminding

him of the basic concepts they want him to hit. Then he has to fill in the rest of the air time with his own creative wordsmithing.
