Is There a Website Documenting Disenfranchisement and Fraud?
Is There a Website Documenting Disenfranchisement and Fraud? I think there should be some kind of central repository for reporting activities of the kind we have seen in Ohio (paper weight Gate), Florida (check-box Gate), and Nevada (circular file Gate). A website dedicated to this purpose would would serve several important purposes.

It would provide a place for people to document suspicious activities.

It would provide a resource to the media (if they somehow decided to cover this phenomena) to get story leads from all over the country. I think if the media realized how important and how widespread this was they would be more inclined to report it.

It would alert the Democratic Lawyers who we are told "are on this" to new activities to be investigated and remediations.

It could be used to post progress updates - in terms of potential impact, success of remediation efforts, and status of prosecution of perpetrators.

Seeing all these stories of fraud and disenfranchisement here at DU and elsewhere really makes me angry and anxious about such blatant attempts to undermine our democratic process. I know we are told that "lawyers are on this" but I think it would work to our advantage if everything about these treasonous activities, including their prevalence, were made widely known.

1. Great idea.
At this point, if Bu$h wins, it means the election was stolen. There is so much documented proof of widespread voting fraud by republicans that an honest Bu$h win is no longer a credible possibility.

The cheating has already occurred. Every Dem should go on strike indefinitely if Bu$h retains power.

Shut the dictatorship down.

4. This election is going to be in litigation for years.
You're idea is good - you might try addressing it here:

http://www.nlg.org/

The National Lawyers Guild is an association dedicated to the need for basic change in the structure of our political and economic system. The Guild unites lawyers, law students, and legal workers as an effective political and social force in the service of the people. Our aims:

* to eliminate racism;
* to safeguard and strengthen the rights of workers, women, farmers and minority groups, upon whom the welfare of the entire nation depends;
* to maintain and protect our civil rights and liberties in the face of persistent attacks upon them;
* to use the law as an instrument for the protection of the people, rather than for their repression.

"...to the end that human rights shall be regarded as more sacred than property interests."

5. How about intimidation also,
including tearing down signs, keying, etc., as well as more serious incidents. We need to document this threat to democracy.
