Bernie Ward: Catholic Church: "Voting for a Pro-Choice candidate is a sin"
Bernie is slamming this story right now, saying "the church cannot tell you what is a sin."

"I would like to remind you that Bush went to the Vatican and asked the Bishops to get involved in his campaign, and they are VERY involved."

Tune in now:

1. Its actually only some Catholic bishops saying this
Not all of them and not the Vatican, also the Pope can't stand Bush for the invasion of Iraq.

3. Ya know
I have had enough of the Catholic Church telling me who to vote for. It's time for them to just shut their damn mouths and clean up their house first. How in THE hell are we supposed to listen to anything they tell us, when we know what they've been doing for years and years-shuffling child molesters from one unsuspecting parish to another. I've had it.

4. I got an "indirect message" during Mass at my church on Sunday
During the service they encouraged us to pray for the wisdom to "vote for candidates who respected the lives of the unborn."

I sat there and went "whaaaaaaat?"

So it may not be all of them, but I hope that it's also "not enough" of them.

8. One thing I did was refuse to join the Knights of Columbus...
...a good friend in the church asked me to. I told him I could not join a group that was so publicly endorsing Bush. He said "You know Kerry's pro-abortion, don't you?"

At that point we agreed to disagree, but the messages are getting louder and more widespread.

Funny thing is, I was a Catholic as a kid, LEFT the church for the same reasons as many other Catholics, and joined this one a year ago because they are EXCELLENT in every other regard. Some of the best people I've known in my life.

However, I will be glad when the election is over, because it's one more way that "Uniter not a Divider" Bush is dividing still more people.

2. The church actually said it's NOT a sin if you have "proportional reasons"
like a corrupt scumbag administration destroying America and killing thousands and thousands in unnecessary wars
