List Your Media Talking Points for Nov 3 Here (After JK Wins)
I'll start:

"I don't think that anyone anywhere would consider that Kerry won a mandate. Anything less than 100% of the vote can't be considered a mandate. The fact that he only got 68% of the vote means that he's a lame duck before he takes office." - Howard Fineman

1. My turn:
"True, Kerry won with 68% of the popular vote and over 400 electoral votes. But Bush is the President RIGHT NOW, so he's the true winner right now. For that reason, we give President Bush.. the Political Play of the Week." - Bill Schneider, CNN's Inside Politics

5. "It has been hours --
HOURS -- since the election, and Kerry has yet to accomplish anything he set out to do. It's safe to say, this presidency will go down as utterly lacking in accomplishment."

I remember when Clinton's presidency was declared a failure because he hadn't made any major changes in the world. This was eleven days into his first term.
