Should Kerry mention Sinclair in the debate?
Not necessarily by name, but something like this:

"George Bush chose the drug companies over the American people, he chose his friends in the Oil business over the environment, and now his friends in big business are going to run a hit piece on television in order to try and get him re-elected"

"My priorities don't include receiving favors from big business, because at some point those favors have to be repaid. We've seen how George Bush has repaid his friends in the oil business, and we can't afford to let George return any more favors"

2. No.
That's a fight he should let others fight for him. And as much as it needs to be done, I will cringe if I hear him start talking about breaking up the big media conglomerates. Remember what happened to Dean after he said that?

3. No no no.
For Kerry to acknowledge it is to legitimize their accusations.

Don't mistake this for another Swift Boat Liar fiasco. The DNC has filed a complaint with the FCC 18 Senators have filed complaints with the FEC, DUer's and bloggers are handling this. Do you know advertisers are already pulling out, stockholders are selling their shares. Here is just one post from the yahoo SBGI stockholders messageboard , plenty more where this came from:

MSNBC 'SBGI like American Nazi Party'

Well, folks, in the battle for public opinion, SBGI is losing. MSNBC Countdown anchor P;ber, amm just compared SBGI to the American Nazi party in reference to their publicly stated extremist views and remarks about the Holocaust.

I think it is safe to say that SBGI is rapidly losing the battle for public opinion over their corporate image and seriously risks losing whatever shred of credibility their stations have with the American people.

Advertisers do not buy time on networks with no credibility. PERIOD.

DUMP IT NOW!

But we can do plenty. Notify every advertiser on this list you will no longer be purchasing their products and most importantly, tell them why. Don't be nasty, many are on our side. Here's the link: http://www.boycottsbg.com/advertisers/default.aspx

4. nope
The smear campaign is an effort to distract voters from the issues. He won't accomplish anything by adding it to the debate except for making it the memorable sound bite.
