Bush accuses Kerry of 350 votes for "higher taxes" Higher than what?
http://www.factcheck.org/article159.html

When pressed for a list of Kerry's 350 votes, the Bush campaign quickly supplied FactCheck.org with one document listing 352 votes and a second listing an additional 27 votes. But a campaign official cautioned: “It is important to note that these are votes for higher taxes, not necessarily tax increases , meaning it includes votes against tax cuts.” (Emphasis added by FactCheck.org). In other words, what the campaign's manager and chief spokesman had been saying was wrong.

Bush Still Fudging the Numbers on Kerry's Tax Votes
http://www.factcheck.org/article247.html

Of the 98 votes "for tax increases," 43 would not actually have increased taxes.

More than once, the 98-vote total counts half a dozen votes or more on on a single bill.

Could someone cook up some equally BS numbers like Bush signed N items into law with tax increases, or something similar for some leading Republicans in Congress.

Somebody could go through this list.

"Child Care/ Dole Substitute. Dole, R-Kan.," -- hell that one was written by Dole!!!

It'd be nice if Kerry could say in the debate. Yeah "well so&so voted to raise taxes even more than I did, the way you're counting them."
