They want to create their own version of FOX News, but more blatantly conservative.
Since 95% of the company is still owned by the Smith family, they won't start to panic until they start running out of money or the FEC or FCC start breathing down their necks. I really don't think they care if they lose money on it. They think they'll be successful in the end.
