And it seems he did speak with the press that day - Friday, August 9, 2002.

GOP Ranks Split Over Iraq Invasion
WASHINGTON, August 9, 2002

(CBS) As the administration intensified contacts with Iraqi opposition leaders, President George W. Bush said he has no timetable for deciding on a military strike against Iraq and may not decide this year.

"And if I did, I wouldn't tell you or the enemy," Bush told The Associated Press during a brief interview Friday at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Pressed on whether he would decide this year, he said, "Not necessarily."

2. Hah!
I almost thought they photoshopped them in just for our benefit.

But look at the second pic anyway.

5. What is it?
The second photo is VERY interesting.

What is that on Furious George's back?

This picture of Bush "working hard" on his 'ranchette' in a T-shirt, means he did not have to be wired.

But I think it leads to the question about whether Bush is on some kind of drug infusion or has some other medical problem.
