Tom Liddy and Dr. Mike Newcomb are on live right now fielding calls. Liddy is an absolute jack ass shilling for Dubya. Liddy has been spending the entire time telling people to be very afraid, that Bush will protect you, be very, very afraid.

Liddy just said that if we don't protect America that Al Queda will have our women wearing burkas and practicing Islam. He is has also attended the GOP School of Political Thought and Discussion, that if you just yell louder than anyone else you are much more "righter" in your opinion. He is a complete jerk spewing lies, skewed statistics and misinformation. Liddy is yelling at the callers, the host, the other guest - he is a bona fide, card carrying, charter member of the GOP Nutcase for the Media group. He is now screaming about 600 terrorists are out to get us - that his brother went and raided training camps - be afraid, be afraid, be afraid - only Bush can save us! Someone how he is equating terrorists and malpractice attorneys? I have to have missed something.

Newcomb, is a lot like Kerry, calm, reasoned, arguing each and every point effectively but I'm not sure anyone can hear him over the BS by Liddy.

Where does the GOP get the shills? Evidently integrity or dignity is not a pre-requisite to work for these guys.

The tripe coming out of these oxygen theives' pieholes have gone from arrogance and swagger to shrill and fear. He's playing up those fears his own hive has and upping the ante...that means people are deserting his ship and soon all we'll see left are the rats.

Hate radio is not news, it's "entertainment" (used in the loosest of terms) There's no standard other than to sound outrageous and arrogant. You don't need to back up assertions with fact or even allow a contrary opinion.

These guys, like Bunnypants live in their own bubble and have spent the past 4 years or more completely unchallenged by reality. Now there's questioning going on and instead of seeking answers, these goons just are going further over the edge.

After the election, we'll have to see how their tone changes...and hopefully start really dealing with this mess.

Lately I've been turning off C-SPAN due to what I perceive as more than usual right wing bias. You'll see a parade of goons like Liddy and other hate spewers generally paired with someone from a "high brow" or public station that doesn't engage in the same yelling and food fighting...and with the "moderators" they don't stand a chance to actually speak on issues for more than a few minutes.
