Have you been paying attention to Dubya's accent lately? |
|
It seems to me that each time I have seen him over the past few weeks, his "Texas" accent has become more and more pronounced.
Maybe it's just my imagination, but I heard part of his speech from an Arizona campaign stop yesterday and the accent was so thick you could cut it with a knife. And last week in the debate, he kept dropping in more and more colloquialisms as he went along.
(If this keeps up, by the election he'll sound like the mumbling neighbor on "King of the Hill".)
Is this just me? Has anyone else noticed this??

1. I thought the same thing yesterday |
|
I probably heard a cut from the same speech and thought he was really pouring it on kind of thick.

3. His brain is degenerating probably. |
|
Or what's left of it. I've heard that he was a much better speaker back in 2000 (and I've seen examples of it and agree). He's slipping.

10. I always love that suggestion |
|
...Considering dumbshitya calls himself a "former" alcoholic.
We of course know he's also a "former" drug addict.
Wouldn't the constant "I'd like to sit and have a beer with him" line we keep hearing from repukes be akin to taking a box of krispy kremes to a weight watchers meeting?

8. He uses the fake Texas accent when he campaigns in the South |
|
The rest of the time he drops it. We had bets on whether he'd have an accent when he spoke at the UN, and of course he did not. He's a lying phony POS.

be careful making fun of Boomhauer... he'd make a better President than Chimpy. I'd rather have some one I can't understand than someone I can't stand. :)

I still think it's funny people believe the bull when his siblings and parents don't speak with a Texas twang. All hat and no cattle.

weeks ago, it had almost disappeared. It's a put-on for show and quite frightening.

How come * is the only member of the Bush family with a Texas drawl?
Jebby doesn't have one. Poppy doesn't have one. Babs doesn't. Hmmm...
