Is Kerry a Liberal Or A Flip-Flopper? |
|
The only way that the logistics of these two attacks could work is if Kerry chose the conservative path the first time every time. How can Kerry be the most consistently liberal Senator in Washington and still be the most inconsistent person in the history of modern man? Especially when he never shows up to introduce himself to Cheney over freedom fries...
Besides being a fairly stupid contradiction, the trotting out of the old 'Trotskyist' saw at such a late stage in the game is a clear sign of desperation. Basically, the 'inconsistent' thing wasn't going to work after people watched Kerry with their own eyes at the debate being all resolute and all. So out comes the last refuge of the damned: the dreaded 'liberal' button of shame.
Guys, I really think we're gonna win this.

2. We Honor Kerry And The Superficial Wounds He Received |
|
From Jane Fonda's naughty fingernails...
Did we mention that his children are black and he was brainwashed by Communist agents infiltrating the highest levels of the U.S. government?

3. I hope Kerry hits Bush with |
|
the fact that the founding fathers wrote the Constitution founded on... LIBERALISM
that Bush has changed his position on Iraq from "imminent and growing threat" to "creating a free Iraq" which is... LIBERALISM
that the unfunded mandate of NCLB received strong bi-partisan in its construction and passing because of ... LIBERALISM
that the complicated, expensive, but inadequate drug benefit plan is marketed by the administration as taking care of seniors which is ... LIBERALISM
Please feel free to add your own. :)
This attack on "Liberal" and "left" by coining it as 'out of the mainstream' is pure horseshit! It only makes me more PROUD to be a LIBERAL and energizes me to FIGHT FOR IT!

5. "THE CHOICE".......explains all this clear as day |
|
Frontline special..."THE CHOICE"....extensively brings out Kerry's 20 year record....and the major accomplishments he's had. Although I knew most of them....it added some new things for me and gave me a whole new respect for the man. The 20 year record....in total...is an admirable record...full of historical examples of why he will make a GREAT president and give one insight into how this is such a perfect moment in history for Kerry to take charge.
THE CHOICE gives a whole new interpretation of how Kerry SOBERLY, painstakingly, and methodically, looks at issues.....then unselfishly gives of himself to construct a meaningful solution. Also...any lingering feelings anyone might have about Kerry being a generic politician...an opportunist, or that marrying Heinz was for the money will see new insights that will yield new respect.
It's horribly ironic that they have turned one of Kerry's best assets of deliberate, intellectual thinking against him. But if you think generically about this....you see this as a prime example of how someone is often discredited in the workplace. At least I've seen that in my 30 years in the business world. One of the downfalls of business has been promoting those that "follow in line" and that "have their eye on the ball"....won't waver from the stated goals. These represent the non-thinkers of our society.
You will see a number of shots of Kerry from early 70s to the present, in which you see this language of "I did this...then I did that"....as part of his overall way of trying to tell the public...."I've looked at this from a number of angles". This is actually part of "Kerry talk"...and it should give people some real peace in the fact that there's way more to what he says than meets the eye.
I was a bit perturbed during debate 2 when he referred to the so called "flip flop war vote" as a possible mispeak....when actually this WASN'T A MISTAKE....THIS IS ACTUALLY THE WAY HE SPEAKS! It has to be a case of someone telling him this might be a good approach. Oh well, hopefully no real damage done.
But I think you're right...overall the more people tune in in these last few weeks...the more they will come away with a better view of Kerry.
With Kerry....looking at him more, looking at him deeper actually yields more.
With Bush...the further you look...they less you get.

7. Agreed! This is what I've been saying: Kerry needs exposure, Bush fears it |
|
For Kerry, win-win. For Bush, he can run but he cannot hide behind the smear campaign forever. They face a real danger of backlash over their intensely negative campaign. The American people are a lot less trusting than at the time of the Willie Horton ad.
