Frontline last night
Did anyone watch Frontline last night on PBS
It was a brief biography or history lesson mostly on GW Bush
and his pushed rise to power
And they also had John Kerry's life story

What it showed of GW Bush, I think every American should watch
this before they vote.
He is pure evil, the way he slammed John McCain in 2000 using
underhand tactics, it showed smirk in the classroom and the
way he didnt react to Sept 11th, and that he WAS going to invade
Iraq long before the fact, everything was a smoke screen.
It showed that Bitch Karen Hughes, and the Nerd of all Nerds
Karl Rover.
Good show, evil stuff

1. watched it...
PBS is being slammed with freeper emails. I wrote them a comment and thanked them for a very unbiased program.

4. Yes it was GREAT!
They are re-airing it on PBS on 10/15 & again on 11/1 for anyone who missed it!

I love the idea that they are showing it the night before the election!

5. Saw parts of it...
Unfortunately, it conflicted with NYPD Blue... not sure whether my blood pressure could handle the entire thing, but what I did see was devastating. Also completely accurate. Anyone who claims bias is full of it. You can't portray Chimpy as Mr. Nice Guy because he isn't...

7. This program clearly demonstrates that chimp is essentially
a salesman and shill for the rw. He considers this shilling to be "leadership".

9. The really scary piece was the "ambition" thing.
They said Bush is extremely ambitious. And when you are a conservative, you can only move in the extraconservative direction to leave a mark. That is a major danger because they guy is nuts.

12. Please don't disrespect nerds!
Kerry is polling in the mid-60s among Nerd-Americans. We're Nerd and we're proud.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go bandaid my glasses back together.

13. went to see "Going Upriver" yesterday
then came home and watched 'Frontline'. What struck me was how similar the two were, and that was good because it means that "Going Upriver" was trustworthy. It's a great movie, if you get a chance to see it! John Kerry is a remarkable man, and I will be proud to have him as my next president!

oh, I'll write PBS too!

14. It was interesting to see Bush's tactics were the same from campaign
to campaign.

Lies
Distortion
Smear
"No direct link to smear campaign" :eyes:

Yea, George ... that's the ticket.

15. It was great!
I thought it was a really well put together program. Very balanced in its approach.

It showed footage and aired audio tape of things that I had heard of but never seen, like the Nixon conversation, the Dick Cavett show (awesome!), John Kerry's senate speech before the Iraq war vote (eerily prophetic), and more of the McCain/Bush encounter.

I thought it was pretty soft ball on *, but the facts or just so damning that it's hard to disquise that in any way.

It boils down to * wasting his life until he says God told him to be president.

OMG. *shudder*

16. Good and drunk
Great segment with a worker from the Alabama senate campaign whose main recollection of Georgie was that he would come in every morning and recount just how drunk he had gotten the night before.

17. Watched most of it
and totally agree. It was a totally balanced biography of both men. It should be required viewing for every undecided viewer -- an unbiased look at two men of privilege; one who grows to become a man of character, honor and decency and one who, well, does not.

18. "This is Kay Bailey from action 2 News"
Man she was whoring for them way back! That Frontline was really good, but then most Frontlines are. I thought the contrast between the 2 in the 60's and 70's was very interesting.

First thing that came to my mind when I watched her vacant reporting... is that really her?

"Kay Bailey, on the scene, Action 2 News!"

19. It was great. The way it showed Kerry speaking as he voted...
to authorize the war.

He said EXACTLY what he's saying now, that his vote is being made becaues he's gotten assured by Bush that UN cooperation will be secured and inspections allowed to play out and planning is all in place.

Beautiful!

That portion should be made into a campaign commercial!

I was watching the McCain/Chimpy exchange and BEGGING McCain to haul off and belt the smug, lying little POS right in his ugly nose. Unbelievable that he would ever deign to speak to him again.
