Do Bush and Kerry "hate" each other?
Someone told me this.. I can see how Bush hates Kerry, but I don't believe Kerry hates Bush.

What do you think?

4. I think that Kerry hates WHAT bush has done to this country!
I can't speak for the personal hate, but from what his speaches say, he hates what has been done to this country and the citizens.
That is a little different than the hate that expresses itself everytime bush tries to open his mouth.
He can hardly say the name Kerry, what more does that say?

5. I agree with you
I think Kerry dislikes Bush. I think Kerry disapproves of Bush and his antics. I think Kerry believes that Bush is funny in a sick -- sad sort of way.

Bush, hates and loathes Kerry. That's because Bush hates anybody who isn't 110% on board with him, and who doesn't feed his fantasy of actually running the country. He hates people who bring reality to his doorstep. And we are doing that with Kerry as our avatar.

8. Yes--and Kerry can use this!
It's Chimpy's Achilles heel--he can be blinded and torqued by his childish, uncontrollable rage. And it is childish; I think that he experiences Kerry as someone who's trying to take away something that he (Chimpy) is entitled to... and that just PISSES HIM OFF more than we can imagine.

My hope: One nudge and he'll fly out of control on national television with tens of millions watching. Oh, please, please...

6. I wouldn't presume to tell someone how they should feel about someone else
but Kerry would be foolish, IMHO, if he doesn't think that Bush and many, many other Republicans are corrupt and against many of the pillars of our democratic institutions. Whether that would translate into "hatred" I have no idea.

7. Kerry is not a 'hater' in the sense that the boy king
hates anyone who doesn't kiss his ring. Having said that, I think the smear ads have had an effect on JK and I think he now sees Shrub on a personal level as a contemptuous piece of dog poo.

Frankly, I would just as soon see Kerry do no more than strict protocol requires when they meet for the passing of the torch in January. Eisenhower wrongly snubbed JFK on inauguration day, Kerry should rightly not embrace the chimpinator IMO.

9. Osama association
Of course Bush hates Kerry. His "You can run but you cannot hide" comments lately are a direct comparison to Osama; these are the same words he said about Osama when he missed his in Tora Bora.

11. I think the instant Kerry is done with the oath of office
he should turn to Bush and Cheney and place them under arrest for war crimes. If he doesn't do it before the end of the ceremony, they might well "disappear."

I know, I know, but I can dream, can't I?

13. I have thought that Kerry has looked so well in the debates because
Edited on Wed Oct-13-04 11:36 AM by CalamityJane
he does not seem to be petty or personal about what he says. He appears to be so much more rational and mature and cool-headed than Bush.

I think it has been funny watching the media whores. They are so frustrated because even they can not spin this contrast away. They have worked and groveled SO hard for 4 years to prop Bush up and this is the payback they get! Bush can't even turn in a performance that looks convincing.

Everything the media whores say that Bush has to do to win the debate -- Kerry does, even though no one thought he would! They said -- "he has to appear strong, he has to appear empathetic, he has to be brief and down to earth"...... No wonder Bush hates him. He works at everything and succeeds!

15. Well HATE isn't always a bad thing
When we look at someone like Bush, it's normal for us to hate him. He's a vile, utterly despicable human being with no sense of honesty, compassion, or sensitivity. He's lied to this country and led us into war where we've lost 1100 of our soldiers; he's given away our national surplus to his corporate buddies; he's handed the reins of government over to the religious right; and he's lied and lied and lied about Kerry's record. I'm SURE Kerry hates him, and why shouldn't he? I would, and I bet all of you would too. There's no shame in hating a hateful, sad, sick fuck.

18. Kerry doesn't have time to hate
Kerry has said that he has been through worse times in his life. He's a combat veteran. Then he came home and told the truth about Vietnam and got smeared. Then he got smeared again in the 1990s when he worked on the MIA/POW issue with Vietnam. Not to mention his divorce from his first wife and the usual stream of trouble I'm sure every senator and congressman has to endure, etc. Kerry knows trouble and he knows how to endure and work through the distractions.

Chimpy hates everybody. Chimpy is a petulant crybaby who never grew up and had everything handed to him and still screwed it up. He's not on the same planet as Kerry. He's not the same species. There's no valid way to even begin comparing the two.

Chimpy hates because hatred and pettiness is his nature. Kerry doesn't have time to hate.
