Mutual Fund Investors should divest Sinclair...write a letter!

I contacted Janus when I learned that they invest 2% of the fund in Sinclair. Here is the letter, which I also sent to Sinclair. Everyone contact your mutual fund!

Dear Janus,

As an investor in the Janus Group, it has come to my attention that one of your Management Companies included in the fund, Sinclair Broadcasting Group, has placed partisan political interests ahead of its financial obligations to the company's shareholders by forcing it's affiliates to air a political ad (masquerading as news) which is clearly biased to one side.

I encourage Janus to immediately divest the 2% of the fund that is in Sinclair. Doing so will send a clear message to Sinclair that their investors do not condone this behavior and believe it will compromise the value of their business.

Moreover, failure to address this issue promptly by divesting will precipitate a loss of faith for me in Janus Group and my investment in fund.

Please respond to me on your position and plan of action. Your immediate attention is greatly appreciated.
