Anyone know WTF is up with this Strategic Vision polling group?
http://www.electoral-vote.com/pollsters/Strategic.html

Look at that map. Those polls look way out of wack. Also to note, their latest New Jersey poll has the reace a tie between Bush and Kerry.

Hm.

3. They always do this..
Georgia is actually much closer than it appears, because Strategic Vision is the only company that polls it (it might be based in Atlanta.) They have admitted that they undercount black voters.

Either way, it's a Republican firm.

4. They are biased. Read what the site admin at electoral-vote writes:
Personally, I have my doubts about Strategic Vision, but I am sticking to my rule of using the poll with the most recent middle date, and breaking ties in favor of the shortest poll, and averaging tied shortest polls.

He won't drop a polling company unless they're caught red-handed.

Also, look at the date of the NJ poll. It's from September.

5. Check the legend....
See http://www.electoral-vote.com/pollsters/index.html --

A white state indicates that the pollster has not conducted an election survey there in 2004.

So -- it looks "out of whack" because they haven't done any polling in most states.

And NJ -- Zogby has it as "barely Kerry" -- so a "tie" is not that inconsistent.
