One of Jebs games in Florida --- No Parking places.
A Friend of mine emailed me

I received this information from an unimpeachable source that tells me the following:

Jeb Bush, Glenda Hood & the Florida Republican Party are planning to fill up the parking lots & keep them filled at highly Democratic precincts in the state thereby preventing Democrats from voting.

If anyone has more information on this, let's spread it nationwide because if they are going to do it in Florida, you can bet this has been shared with Republicans in Ohio and other key states.

This is another very important reason to VOTE EARLY OR VOTE ABSENTEE. This is especially important in Florida where we have been hit by multiple hurricanes & where the precinct locations may have been changed.

1. How is that going to prevent people from voting?
Just park farther away and walk. It's good to get some exercise any how.

I'm in Florida. My husband and I just put our ballots in the mail this morning.

2. Oh, you can bet they're gonna pull this in Ohio, too.
:grr:

There's really only one option... block 'em in. Park right behind 'em. Go inside and vote, and if you get a ticket, pay it cheerfully. :D

9. Oh, and make sure you
drive the old beater to the polls when you go to vote.
You know, the '86 Lincoln or the trusty old Ford pickup
with those very wide doors.

Park right next to the nicest car.
(after determining that it doesn't belong to one of "ours", of course)

Ooops!!!

3. I wouldn't put it past them but it's just laughable
They are such small-time crooks when you really get down to it.

If these guys tried to run a banana republic they would screw it up.

4. Considering that there are 1000's of polling places in FL
This idea seems to be a little half-baked. The number of cars needed to do this would be astronomical.

6. A $15 ticket is a small price

to pay for getting your country back. I hope the majority of Kerry supporters will feel this way when the time comes.

I suppose they could have all the local Repubs park places then bus them back to their homes :gotme: sounds a bit out there

11. But not that many in Strong Dem areas
and I am sure they will target the large precincts.

13. There are plenty of strong Democratic areas in FL
Broward County, Palm Beach County, Pinellas County, Orange County, Osceola County, Gadsen County, and large parts of Miami-Dade County are solidly Democratic areas.

5. They could try it with me in MO
But I'd walk from home if I had to! Try to stop that!

If they try it with my mom in Florida, though, I'll be pissed.

She can't walk very far, due to health reasons. I hope my dad will drive her and park in the Repub b*st*rds if they try it!

7. The Dems should start a shuttle service!
Find a freindly lot and have someone at the poll direct them to that lot and have vans car pool people back and forth.

Then they denied it.

12. OK, calm down folks - this is just nuts. That "unimpeachable source"
wasn't unless your consider someone's ass to be an unimpeachable source. Come to think of it, with Bush having a Repub House, I guess you could say that he is an "unimpeachable source".
