People from all over are coming to work the election in our county.

Just got this from the local DEC....edited names out. Folks are here already, and more coming this week-end. We are having a training session for poll workers this Saturday as well.

SNIP..."As you probably know, folks are coming from all over (in Polk county already
from Germany, England, Massachusetts and Washington DC-which are almost
other countries) to help us win this election. We have three volunteers
from San Franscisco coming Thursday who will need a place to stay in
Lakeland. One has been before amd is returning Thursday.
He is an emergency room physician who obviously decided we were the greater
emergency! He has a place to stay but two friends of his, an aunt and a
niece are also coming...."END SNIP

I love this. I really believe our county will be ready. Our elections supervisor is great, and we are getting organized.

on Sunday to join fellow DNC fundraisers from Washington DC campaign down there. I'm so proud of her -- and of all these great young people.
