I must say that I've been pretty inmpressed with Lockhart's performance as the spokesman/spinmeister for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. He did another bang-up job today on CNN's Inside Politics.

3. He was asked to comment on Kerry's tax increase.

He said the shrub campaign can call it anything they want, but it's very simple...If you earn over $200,000, Kerry will reverse the shrub tax cuts and put things back to where they were under BC. It's just that simple!

I know my paraphrasing doesn't do Joe's comments justice. He sounded much better than that, but I understood his statement to mean "Just ignore shrub, he's lying!"
