I saw Going Upriver this week. It is a must see!!! |
|
It really captures Kerry's courage, his passion, his intensity and of course his ability to calmly, but diligently lead. Go watch it at the theater or order the DVD.
This is a remarkable man - and he has been ever since he was young. Now is his time. We must help him across the finish line. America desperately needs him.
As a devout Clark supporter, I never thought I'd feel this way, but I do and I'm glad about it.
These next few days will be like nothing we've ever seen. Bush and his goons will sense Kerry's momentum - and will try to throw every bit of filth and sludge they can muster. We can't stand for a second of it. We must be ready to bat it right back at them.
We are going to win.

6. Has it been on television yet? Can it be? I downloaded the .mov file |
|
from www.goingupriver.com and burned it to CD so I can share it with Repub relatives and with my brother... I would like to know if anyone out there knows of any "decent" converter that could convert the .mov to .avi or perhaps .wmv... DVD would be better... even though I don't have a DVD burner as of yet... but a free Windows based converter I used dropped the sound out about 1/3 of the way through the change to .avi.
I hope that if and when I get a DVD burner it comes with some reliable software that can encode and convert the myriad formats out there..
I even tried Dr.Divx (shareware) and it choked on it... not sure why....

2. Don't forget, you can download it as well. |
|
It's at www.thekerrymovie.com.
I feel much the same as you did after viewing it. After watching it, I'm convinced that people are doing themselves a big injustice if they don't put this man in the White House.

everyone i know who's seen it, including myself, feels the same.
kerry was my fourth choice of the dems running in the primaries. when he won the nomination, i was behind him only half-heartedly and sometimes i felt like he was merely "anybody-but-bush". then he started to grow on me and i felt better about him, but still he didn't really get me that fired up.
then i saw the movie and i realized that he is the one. i have to believe there is still a bit of that young veteran john kerry inside senator kerry. and, despite the move toward the middle that we see from him in the debates in order to capture the undecideds and independent voters, i think the old john kerry will emerge once he's in the white house and he'll get this country back on the right track again.
let's get the AWOL war profiteers out of the whitehouse and bring a leader back in!
