I am officially sick of comparing debates to a baseball game
One more TV shot of Mary Matlin or Candy Crowley declaring "he hit it out of the park" or anything containing "home run" or some other such nonsense and I will go crazy. I really will. Don't do this to me.

7. stupid people use sports as an analogy for politics
I've never figured out why, but they do.

The talking heads just pander to the lowest common denominator: they understand sports.

10. Just had a thought along these baseball lines:
wouldn't it be hilarious to hear Shrub try to explain the infield fly rule. On second thought, HE probably could do that.
