Did Snow really say the surplus was a myth?
Uh....ok there John.

I bet he's in the camp that believes the holocaust was a myth too!

Just like 2005 is a myth
Has anyone here ever lived in the year 2005? It's a myth! It doesn't exist.

;-)

Peter

PS. Don't know what snow said, but I wouldn't be surprised.

1. how did he couch it?
In terms of the national debt, he's right

in terms of the yearly deficit, he would be wrong, as WJC had a few years in a row of surpluses

the overall debt was still in the TRILLIONS when the crooks took back the reins, though

that's probably what he was saying, in which case he'd be right

3. All the bad news is
Jobs lost = Myth
Whoever was interviewing him was trying to get him to answer but he just denied any of the facts. It was like watching Cheney say, "I never said Sadaam was an imminent threat" right after watching the tape of himself saying Sadaam was an imminent threat.

4. Think about it--
Its really an incredible story. Supposedly, once upon a time, there was a president who thought it was important for the federal government to stop spending hundreds of bilions of dollars more than it took in, and actually raised taxes on the rich, and balanced the budget?

I mean, come on, you believe that crap? In what universe could we ever expect a president to exhibit that sort of competence, courage and values?
